History with a purpose
Our inspiring children’s stories draw on Islamic and Muslim history to encourage faith, good character, leadership, strength, courage and a sense of connection to our shared heritage. We take great care with the information we include and how it is presented.
Written with young readers in mind
Language, detail and emphasis are adapted to the intended age group. A story for a toddler and a story for an older child serve different needs. Our aim is to inspire understanding and Islamic values in a way a young reader can engage with.
References for parents
We provide references for parents who want to check a source, explore the history in greater depth or continue a conversation beyond the story. A children’s retelling is an introduction - the references help families look further.
Illustrations
Our illustrations are created in accordance with Islamic guidelines - if we want to encourage our children to do the right thing, we have to lead by example.
